BRICK

TYPES OF BRICKS WE PROVIDE

Available in a diverse range of colours, sizes and applications we can provide you with guidance on the most appropriate brick for your project.  Working with UK and European suppliers, we can source and supply you with cost effective options to meet any design brief.

FACING BRICKS

A strong brick and the foundation of a building structure, they face outward and define the overall colour and style of the building.

ENGINEERING BRICKS

A key foundation to any structure, these strong bricks are frost and water-resistant. Typically, a couple of courses are laid below ground with a further two courses above ground followed by facing bricks.

BRICK SLIPS

These are thin sections of brick used to replicate the appearance of a conventional brick wall in both external and internal applications. Quick and easy to fit they can offer a cost-effective way to achieve the brick finish look that you want.

GLAZED BRICKS

As the name suggests, these bricks have a glossy ceramic finish and can be used to create striking designs.

SPECIAL BRICKS

Innovative building designs need specially shaped bricks and these can be custom designed to meet your brief.

BRICK ARCHES

These can be manufactured from drawings to suit a design or alternatively pre-fabricated arches are available in a standard format, light weight block backed or concrete backed for structural use.

CHIMNEYS

With a GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) core these prefabricated chimneys are available in a range of standard designs. Easy to install and clad in traditional facing materials such as brick slips, stone or render, they are designed to complement a wide range of properties. These chimneys are “working” or “cosmetic” and can be positioned on the gable end ridge, mid ridge, mono pitch or parapet with one or two pots.

For a lightweight alternative there are GRP brick effect chimneys which can be used on mid ridge or mono pitch locations and are decorative only.  With this technology it is possible to match to almost any brick type and they can be easily installed without the need for a crane.
